Which
Assessment Should You Take?
If you were asked to take a certain assessment, be sure to take that
assessment.
In general, we recommend taking the assessment that best matches the
developmental level of the person taking the assessment. For example, if a 13
year-old youth is at an advanced developmental level, she may want to take the
ACLSA-III instead of the ACLSA-II. Below are general age guidelines for each
assessment:
- ACLSA-I (ages 8-9)
- ACLSA-II (ages 10-12)
- ACLSA-III (ages 13-15)
- ACLSA-IV (ages 16+) Special Note: The name of this assessment has been
changed from "Adult Assessment" to "ACLSA-IV." Only the name has changed, the
content remains exactly the same. It's appropriate for people age 16 and up.
- ACLSA Short Assessment (ages 11-18)
